Attention all Writers! On this coming Saturday Nov. 22, I will be leaving for military training exercises in Fort Polk, LA.  I will be gone for just over three weeks.  During this time, I will have little or no contact with the internet or the outside world!  Even though I am going to be gone, I want to continue the growth of the Baptist Muse especially in terms of the Blog and Forums.

In an effort to continue the production of enjoyable, doctrinally sound articles, I am asking that all authors at the Baptist Muse try to submit an article before the end of this week.  This will allow my wife and I to schedule articles for every even day from now until the time that I return.

I understand that this is a big request and I understand if anyone doesn't have an article that they can lend us to fill the gap.  If you do, however, have a post that you can drop in the blog section of our site, it would be much appreciated.

Be sure to note that during that time, I will likely be unable to get on here and respond to your comments, so please be sure to jump in here and discuss these issues for me.  I hope to find a lot of comments when I return.  Let's keep this website moving forward as a ministry that God has allowed us to be a part of.

I already miss fellowshipping on here with you all and I haven't even left yet.  I can't wait for all of this to be over and to be back on here with you all again.  Keep the standard high while I am gone!

In Christ,

Nicholas Z. Cardot

Nick, I'm gonna miss you I think it's a good thing I'll be gone for part of the time as well.
Fellow blogging and forum friends. I'll miss the daily fellowship that I enjoy over the next two weeks. I'll try to get back on when I get home. If not then when Nick returns I'll try to catch up with all the action that has taken place.
Good luck to all those who are participating in this months contest.

Well, I don't know how fun it's going to be...but I will most certainly be making the best of it. I will be acting the role of an Iraqi Police Officer and working in conjunction with the American troops who are getting ready to be deployed.

Nick, thanks for your service to our country. As the Lord puts you on my mind I will pray for your safe return and the grace for you to continue to know Him better.

Thanks, Chris. You folks don't realize how much it means to us just to hear a simple thank you. The support I receive from friends and family just means the world. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the articles that have been submitted so far. It is a blessing to know that some of the days have been taken care of and that is one less thing that will be on our minds while we are unavailable to update the site.
May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving.
