When did you start wearing dresses/skirts all of the time? Was it hard for you to say 'no more' to pants? What made the decision for you?

YAY! I'm glad you joined my group.
I was originally raised Mennonite, and we wore dresses all of the time. Then I moved to cold Ohio and Mom let me wear pants. I attended public school and it was the thing to do. When I submitted to God's will and had a job and could help pay for tuition, I started going to my Baptist church's school and began wearing skirts/dresses all of the time. It was part of the dress code. I stuck to it. A year after graduating, I began wearing pants again. Recently, I went back to wearing skirts/dresses because it has become a personal conviction.

I started wearing dresses/skirts all the time about 2 1/2 years ago. In September of 2007 I went to Rockford Illinois to be in the Reformers Unanimous Discipleship program and there we only wore dresses/skirts. When I first came home in March of 2008 I looked forward to wearing my jeans again, but I soon realized that wearing dresses/skirts was an 'instant testimony' to others that I was a Christian and a lady. I don't wear pants because I think it's a sin to wear pants. I'm not legalistic, far from it... I'm actually being a rebel! A rebel against what 'the world' says I should wear! : )
I wear dresses and skirts all the time BY PREFERENCE and for an 'INSTANT TESTIMONY'.
