What part about the new health care bill strikes you with the most effect?

For me it has to be that the IRS is in charge of enforcement.

Why does there have to be...(emphasis here on the word "be") an enforcement part of anything that is supposed to be good for our people?

Why does our congress continue to legislate the common citizen into being criminals because of or for "conscience sake"?

Great added answer. I had thought about that but it never occurred to me as a threat and it actually is.

The part I find ironic is that they supposedly designed the bill to help those who cannot afford insurance. But the end result is if you don't get the insurance, you will be fined and the IRS will be on you!

Also, Pres. Obama in his campaign promise said that all health care debates would be televised on C-span. Now they are hidden behind closed doors and the Republicans aren't even allowed to sit in???
