Hello folks,

Just thought I'd give y'all an update about what has happened with me.

A few month's ago I started having severe ringing/buzzing in my left ear followed by attacks of vertigo with nausea where I couldn't stand up without falling. These attacks started coming more often and I wound up at an ENT specialist diagnosed with Meniere's Disease. I am currently out of work and on short term disability. Everything that has been done locally with changes in diet and different drugs has not helped much and I'm still not able to work. I will be going to Emory University hospital in Atlanta this Friday to see what else can be done. I just ask that you please pray for my family and I as I was the only one working. At the moment I can't stay on a computer for long without getting dizzy. Not able to drive and my job is in tech support where of course I'm on a computer all day, so I'm not even sure I'll be able to return to that type of work. I have been so blessed since I've been out of work though with much help from my family and other people that belong to Christ Jesus.

I can't imagine having to go through this without faith.

God is good no matter what.

Update

Back from Emory, Have a couple choices, one surgery is corrective and works 2/3 of the time for folks. If that doesn't work, the other option is a destructive procedure.

The surgery is called...endolymphatic sac decompression,,, if that doesn't help, i will have to have a surgery to destroy my inner ear or have it chemically destroyed with shots.
