Ok, I admit it. I will cut mold off of cheese and still use it. For some reason this freaks out my children and now they wont eat anything at my house if its even remotely close to the expiration date for fear that I have "extended" its shelf life.

There is nothing wrong with cutting the mold off to extend the shelf life. Your kids will understand when they have to pay the bills. LOL!

I run my cat into walls, bathtubs full of water, falling behind the couch, and other hazardous situations because of his maniacal obsession with finally capturing and destroying that little laser light dot.
